Jared Day - President

Jared is the founder and owner of Lumen. He lives in Round Rock, Texas with his beautiful wife and 2 kids. He likes to play games, spend time outside and played lacrosse in college. Jared got his BS in Finance and BA in Economics at Utah State University. After 8 years of hands-on experience, he is a seasoned professional in the realm of utility bill auditing.

Kyle Zimmerman - Director of Sales

Kyle is a California native. His journey led him to the University of Arizona, where he delved into the world of economics. Nearly four years ago, he tied the knot with his wonderful wife, Meg. His family expanded with the arrival of his son, Jackson, and he’s eagerly awaiting the arrival of his daughter! When he’s not cheering for the Angels baseball team, you'll find him exploring Utah's outdoors, cruising on his RZR, and indulging in the thrill of travel.

Cara Smith - Billing Specialist

Cara Smith lives in Wyoming with her 2 youngest boys and husband. Her favorite things to do are wake surfing, hiking, watching musicals, most athletic events, especially the ones her children are participating in. Spending time with family, 7 children and 2 grandsons, is the best part of life and she loves finding ways to do that as often as she can and in as many different places as possible. Travel is her favorite hobby. Cara is over the accounts receivable and helps with the billing at Lumen. She has experience working in this field for over 12 years and is happy to be working for such a great family owned company whose objective is helping businesses save money.

Allison Nickle - Director of Auditing

Allison lives in Logan, UT with her husband and baby boy. She enjoys running, hiking, music, reading, pickleball, and being outdoors. Allison got her degree in Computer Science, with an emphasis in Mathematics and a minor in Yoga Studies. She has 4 years of experience in web development, 4 years of experience in sales, and 2 years of experience in auditing.

Ellie James

Ellie was born and raised in Texas, but is currently living and working on the beautiful island of Oahu with her husband Denz as he finishes his last year of school. Ellie graduated with her own degree in Communications, Media & Culture along with minors in Marketing and Psychology. When she’s not working, you can find her reading at the beach, camping with friends, or immersing herself in an art project.

Trent Paddon - Sales Rep

Trent was born and raised in California where he still resides today. He played basketball and baseball all the way until college where he was a pitcher full time for four different Universities. After finishing his collegiate career he went into the world of wealth management before moving to Lumen full time. Trent enjoys playing basketball and golfing as well as spending time with friends and family.
